Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use aaruvita.in, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website only.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, delivery address, phone number, and your email address if you give one. When you contact us: whatever is in your message. When you browse: ordinary server log information such as IP address, browser type, and which pages you visited.

We do not collect or store card numbers, UPI IDs or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment gateway, which tells us only whether a payment succeeded and gives us a reference number.

Why we use it

To take, pack and deliver your order. To send you order updates on WhatsApp and by email. To raise a GST invoice, which we are required by law to keep. To answer your questions, and to prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

Only those who need it to get your parcel to you or to keep the shop running: our courier, who receives your name, address and phone number; our payment gateway, which handles your payment directly; and the providers that send our order messages and email. Each receives only what that job needs.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as GST law requires us to keep them. Everything else is kept only while it is useful, and deleted when it is not.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to erase it where we are not required by law to keep it. You may withdraw consent to marketing messages at any time. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies
